HOW THE PROCESS WORKS:

1. Submit your application(s), along with application fee(s) online at the below link:

2. Submit required Supplemental Application Forms:

Copy of Birth Certificate

Copy of Immunization Record

Copies of previous two report cards (if applicable)

Copies of two years standardized testing results if applicable (2nd – 8th grade)

Teacher Questionnaire

Church Recommendation form

3. Application checklists

Checklists are available in your online admissions account by clicking on your applicant’s name. You will be able to download any needed forms, or upload required documents, directly within the checklist.

4. Academic Assessment Dates:

For all students applying for 1st – 8th grade for the 2019-2020 school year, please visit our assessment page here to view available assessment dates and contact Ashlee Cowell via email (acowell@marinerscs.org) in Admissions to reserve your student’s assessment.

If you are applying to TK – K, schedule your Chancy and Bruce Developmental Screening appointment with Chancy and Bruce: For a Chancy and Bruce permission form with scheduling details, click here.

Chancy and Bruce offers three screening dates here at Mariners Christian School. You may view these dates and more information here. Your child may be screened here at MCS, at their preschool if the preschool offers it, or at the Chancy and Bruce office in Huntington Beach.

5. Family Interview

Once we have a complete file (all forms have been submitted, assessment is completed), our admissions office will contact you to schedule your Family Interview with one of our administrators. This is a time for the student and parents to come and meet with one of our administrators. It is a great opportunity for us to get to know you and for you to get to know us!

6. Admissions Decision Email Sent

Our Admissions Committee begins meeting in late February for all applicants that have completed the admissions process and had their family interview.. The first round of admissions decisions will go out on March 1st. After that, the committee will meet bi-weekly until all available openings are filled.
