Head of School

Dear MCS Community:

I am honored to be the Head of School at MCS. Our family was unmistakably called by God to join this amazing staff in July of 2015.

We left friends and family in Charlotte, NC to follow His will in inserting us into the caring, compassionate and God-honoring community that makes up Mariners Christian School. MCS is blessed with an outstanding 30 year legacy that represents a well-respected reputation for providing a spiritually and academically sound education. Our Alumni report to us that their K-8 experience at MCS was formative in preparing them for high school and beyond academically, but that the spiritual formation and deep Apologetics instruction they received here was of the greatest value. Being that we are a Christian school for Christian families, we feel affirmed that our Alumni hold that as the best part of their experience.

The future of MCS is just as bright as its past. Our staff is committed to our students thriving spiritually and thriving academically with an equal measure of excellence. We look forward to challenging our students by individualizing their experience. Given this approach, we can’t wait to see how God will grow them through the incorporation of passions, choice, individual pacing, and true student ownership within their learning.

MCS has been been growing and changing significantly on the “inside,” becoming a leading-edge provider of Christian education. Now, we stand poised to transform on the “outside,” giving students a state-of-the-art learning environment that will ignite their hearts and inspire their imagination. To carry out this God-sized vision, MCS has launched a comprehensive campaign that will dramatically modernize the entire campus to reflect our Core Values and unwavering commitment to excellence, as well as build a strong foundation of program support to ensure the future viability of MCS.

This is an exciting time for MCS. I stand with our staff ready to provide the best learning environment for your child each and every day.

In Christ
