Annual Fund

Thank you for your willingness to support the mission of MCS!

Your participation in the MCS Annual Fund makes a direct and immediate impact on our students and is an essential ingredient to the growth and success of our academic/spiritual programs. We truly appreciate your generosity! Every gift matters, no matter the amount, and enables the MCS faculty and staff to JOYFULLY help students reach their greatest God-given potential, develop character and leadership, form lifelong friendships, and discover the TRUE JOY of living the Christian life.

What is the MCS Annual Fund and why is it important?

Every year, MCS is blessed by an amazing partnership with parents, grandparents, alumni, and friends who support the mission of “building a firm foundation through Christ-centered education” through Annual Fund giving.

While tuition covers 95% of educational costs, the Annual Fund enables MCS to “Go Above and Beyond” with vital program improvements. Annual Fund contributions are a critical part of MCS’s operating budget, ensuring that students receive the highest caliber of academic and spiritual preparation without burdening families with excessive tuition increases.

+ What is the significance of 100% participation?

There is strength in numbers!  Our goal for 100% family participation will help MCS accomplish strategic improvements for the benefit of students today and into the future. In addition, a strong participation rate demonstrates to the local community that our families are “100%” unified in mission and purpose. When foundation donors are considering their support of MCS, a key influencing factor is community participation.

Leading the way, we are proud to announce that this year 100% of our Board of Trustees and our faculty and staff have pledged their support!

+ When does the Annual Fund take place?
Our goal is to receive all donations by December 31 to ensure immediate impact within the current school year. However, the MCS fiscal year runs through June 30, so your support is welcome any time!

Yes!  All donations to MCS are tax-deductible, as allowed by law.  Our nonprofit 501-c-3 number is 33-0225468. All contributions are acknowledged with a charitable receipt.
+ Should I designated my gift to MCS?
Generally speaking, unrestricted donations are of the greatest value to MCS Leadership, as they provide the most flexibility within our budget.  However, we understand that some donors have a passion for a particular program or initiative and prefer to designate their donation as such.  This is completely acceptable, as long as the designation aligns with the mission and vision of MCS.

MCS is grateful for all donations!  A list of possible ways to give can be accessed here http://www.marinerschristianschool.com/support-mcs/how-to-give/
