1. Does Mariners Christian School offer a Daycare Program?


Daycare is offered before and after school (beginning at 7:00 a.m. and ending at 6:00 p.m.) Monday through Friday during the school year and is closed on most school holidays. Availability for Daycare on non-school days is published periodically in the Tuesday Notes from the office. Kindergarten Care is also available ( 12:30-3:00 p.m.) for working parents or parents who have afternoon commitments.

2. How does technology support education at Mariners Christian School?

In today’s world of academia, technology and education go hand in hand. Technology at Mariners Christian School enables our teachers to communicate ideas more effectively so that classroom instruction is maximized for students, bringing learning to life to the younger, more technology-oriented generation. It also enables our teachers to prepare students for the demands that will be placed on them in high school and college, giving them real-world skills in desktop publishing, webpage development, slide shows, spreadsheets, video editing, digital photography, and word processing for research papers, presentations, book reports, and other projects.

Mariners Christian School ’s program offers technology classes beginning in kindergarten. Students benefit from two computer labs (elementary and middle school) and three mobile i-Book laptop systems, as well as dedicated specialist teachers with a passion for integrating technology into the academic curriculum.
